The core Ledger Lite tracker runs entirely in your web browser. The financial information you enter — income, expenses, categories, client names, and settings — is stored locally in your browser on your device using your browser's local storage. On the free tracker, we do not upload, receive, or have access to this data. Clearing your browser data or switching devices removes it, which is why we provide a Backup feature.
The Service does not use tracking cookies unless you agree. When you first visit, a consent banner lets you Accept or Decline analytics. If you accept, we load analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) which may set cookies to measure usage; IP addresses are anonymised where supported. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice by clearing your browser storage for this site.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, such as our payment processor, hosting/cloud provider, and analytics provider, and only as needed to perform those functions. We may also disclose information where required by law.
