Ledger Lite is a web-based tool that helps freelancers and small businesses record income and expenses and estimate an amount to set aside for tax. The free tracker stores your data in your own browser; paid plans add features such as cloud sync and backups.
Ledger Lite provides tools and estimates for your convenience only. The tax set-aside figure and any other calculations are estimates, not professional advice. You are responsible for your own financial and tax decisions and should consult a qualified accountant or tax professional. We are not liable for reliance on the Service's outputs.
For paid plans you must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to breach security, disrupt the Service, reverse engineer it except as permitted by law, use it unlawfully, or infringe others' rights.
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service. Your data remains yours.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost — please keep your own backups.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; you may export your data beforehand.
